Solutions Architect at MAPID, Bandung
We are looking for a Solutions Architect to join our team at MAPID in Bandung. This is a Contractor position.
Your role will involve analyzing business requirements and translating them into comprehensive end-to-end solution architectures. You will design system architecture across frontend, backend, database, API, and infrastructure, and define technology stacks that prioritize scalability, security, and cost efficiency. You will also set non-functional requirements such as performance and availability, act as a technical decision-maker guiding architectural trade-offs, and collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, spatial analysts, and business stakeholders. Additionally, you will review implementations to ensure alignment with architectural decisions and maintain technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
Here are the qualifications we are looking for
- A strong background or keen interest in software development or system architecture.
- A solid understanding of software architecture, API design, databases, and cloud platforms.
- The ability to read and understand code, though daily hands-on coding is not required.
- Comfort in communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience or interest in GIS / WebGIS / Location Intelligence would be a significant advantage.
- Willingness to be stationed in Bandung, a city known for its cool air and good coffee.
